Topic: Encouraging Economic Development in Utah
Sophia DiCaro is the deputy director of the Governor’s Office of Economic
Development. Prior to this appointment, DiCaro served as GOED’s finance director and oversaw all financial operations throughout the department, managing budgets, funding and distribution of funds. She has overseen all processes with agency contracts and interfaces with the Legislature, and the other agencies in state government. Before joining GOED, DiCaro served as the lead budget and policy analyst in the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget.
Ms. Dicaro is a graduate of the University of Utah from which she holds a Master of Public Administration degree. She and her husband, Robert Goodick are the proud parents of three children.
